The UNM HSC recognizes the importance of our partnerships with the state’s other institutions of higher education. Through partnerships with other national leaders in education, we are able to provide our students with the most advanced, innovative and effective educational tools in the country.
The UNM HSC partners with a variety of health care providers and agencies to ensure New Mexicans receive the highest quality of care available. Strong partnerships with other health care facilities, including the New Mexico Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Albuquerque, Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, and St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, enable us to improve access and enhance the level of care for all patients.
Our research partners include educational institutions, national laboratories, research agencies, state and federal governments, and private industry. By cultivating these partnerships, the HSC can see its faculty’s research efforts translated into new products, new drugs, and new devices for the treatment of illness and disease.
