The Domenici Center for Health Sciences Education serves all of the education programs at the UNM Health Sciences Center : Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Sciences, Public Health, and Biomedical Sciences. The Center incorporates state-of-the-art classroom technology to facilitate and enhance interdisciplinary education and is a focal point of the Health Sciences Center campus.
The Center serves as a gateway to the Phil and Olga Eaton Sculpture Garden of Healing. These four gardens and a Memorial Garden Walkway, when developed, will fuse traditional and contemporary sculpture to create an atmosphere conducive to healing and learning.
The Center houses the Hall of Discovery which promotes an understanding of the history, scientific advancements, and current issues surrounding health sciences in the state of New Mexico.
The Student Lounge at the east end of the Domenici Center auditorium building is accessible 24x7 to HSC students via proximity (“prox”) card access. The lounge doors are unlocked 6 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays, but afterhours access to the lounge is now available for students registered in Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, Diagnostic and Therapeutic and other HSC programs. Details
