The
New Mexico Poison and Drug Information Center
coordinates statewide public education programs in order to reduce the
incidence of unintentional poisonings and increase awareness of the New
Mexico Poison and Drug Information Center's services.
The
Center provides the following public poison prevention educational
services:
- Presentations at a variety of locations
including schools, businesses, senior centers and professional
conferences.
- Exhibits at health fairs, and other
educational events.
- Media consultation.
- Education material distribution
(brochures, telephone labels, posters).
