UNM HSC conducts education
programs to support investigators in expanding their knowledge and
skills in research as well as further their career choices in the
research field.
Biomedical
Sciences Graduate Program (BSGP) - offers students an
exciting opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the
biomedical sciences in a spectacular southwestern setting
M.D./Ph.D.
Program - Designed to provide comprehensive training in both
clinical sciences and a basic biomedical science discipline
Masters in Clinical Research - Provides learners, having
previously earned a terminal degree (i.e., PhD, MD, PharmD),
with the didactic and experiential learning necessary to conduct
NIH-funded clinical and translational research
Post
Doctoral Training - Draws upon collaborative, interdisciplinary
efforts of faculty in the School of Medicine and College of
Pharmacy; Promotes significant advances in the basic sciences;
and supports translational research programs focused on
improving healthcare
The Mentored Career Development Program - will support the
research career development of clinical researchers who have
recently completed professional training and who are commencing
basic, translational and/or clinical research. The goal of
this program is to foster the discipline of clinical research
and, by increasing clinical research capacity, to expedite
