Current Residents

Megan Strand, M.D.

PGY-4

Dr. Strand came to our program after receiving her medical degree in 2008 from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She completed her internship at the Center for Family Medicine in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Erica Walsh, M.D.

PGY-4

Dr. Walsh completed her medical degree at the John A Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii in 2008. Dr. Walsh completed her intern year as a transitional resident at Virginia Mason in Seattle Washington in 2009.

Michaela Haney, M.D.

PGY-3

After graduation from college at the University of San Diego, Dr. Haney spent two years working for a biotech company focused on melanoma clinical research before returning home to New Mexico for medical school. She graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2009 and started her dermatology residency in 2010.

Erica Lau, D.O.

PGY-3

Dr. Lau completed her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2009. The following year, Dr. Lau completed her intern year in general surgery at Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix, Arizona in 2010.

Colin Buckley, M.D.

PGY-2

Dr Buckley finished his undergraduate medical training at UNM School of Medicine. After matching in Dermatology, he continued his training at UNM SOM with a preliminary year in Internal Medicine.

Laura Keck, M.D.

PGY-2

Dr. Keck completed her medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University in 2010. She completed her intern year as an internal medicine resident at Providence St. Vincent's Medical Center in Portland, OR in 2011.
