Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Dermatology is to:

  • Provide superior clinical care to dermatology patients
  • Train and educate clinical scholars, residents, medical students, and other learners who share an interest in dermatology
  • On-going continuing medical education
  • Conduct research to promote greater understanding of the field of dermatology
  • Promote academic excellence in all of the departmental endeavors, whether they are clinical, educational, research or administrative
