The Occupational Therapy Ambassadors Program utilizes the leadership skills of current students in the graduate program to enhance program recruitment and relationships with potential applicants. Students in their second year of the graduate program volunteer to support potential applicants through the following activities/discussions:

  • Campus Tour
  • Real life perspectives on classes, assignments, semester schedules
  • Discussion of OT Ambassador’s choice of this program/profession
  • Sharing reflections from Fieldwork, community and independent study
  • Description of experience with faculty mentorship and research
  • Opportunities to shadow OT Ambassador during a class or PBL session
