Child Life
The goal of the Child Life staff is to normalize the hospital environment for children and their families in a safe, secure and clean environment. The Child Life Program works closely with families and healthcare providers to treat the whole child through the following services:
- Preparation for medical tests, procedures and surgeries
- Family support during hospitalization
- Age related activities in the playroom, Pediatric Clinic or Pete’s Playground
- Special activities for patients confined to their rooms
