Division of Infectious Diseases, Immunology and Rheumatology
The Division of Infectious Disease provides service through an
infectious disease clinic and 24-hour telephone consultation service.
Pediatric infectious disease physicians follow the management, treatment,
evaluation and follow-up of suspected-proven-complex, acute or chronic
infectious including pleural pulmonary infections, osteomyelitis or septic
arthritis and CNS bacterial or viral infections. Children with +HIV
serology/AIDS or congenital infectious and tuberculosis are also followed.
Referral or recommendations for special microbiologic/virologic studies are
available on request.
