Young Enduring Survivors Clinic
The Young Enduring Survivors Clinic (YES!) provides multi-disciplinary
follow-up for survivors of pediatric malignancies. YES! Clinic staff
includes: pediatric oncologist, neuro-psychologist, social worker, clinic
coordinator/patient educator. Their mission is to optimize the quality of
life for children and young adult survivors of childhood cancer by
providing focused risk-assessment information and screening for multiple
physical and psycho-social impacts of disease and treatment. An individual
treatment summary is developed for each patient prior to the clinic visit
which includes: diagnosis, all chemotherapy agents received, radiation
therapy, surgical procedures, transplants, significant complications and
adverse drug reactions/allergies.
