Electives
Almost all of the electives can be taken with our department subspecialty faculty
members. If an elective is not available at our institution, residents are encouraged
to take them elsewhere in the country at an accredited program. All of the options
listed below are pediatric specific, with appropriately board certified faculty.

Resident Directed Electives: Housestaff may partner with a
faculty mentor to design research, reading or away (including
international) experiences that enhance their education in pediatrics.
Residents may do this once in each of their second and third years.
