"I came to UNM from New York City to do my residency in psychiaty and loved the experience and living in New Mexico so much that I decided to stay on as faculty. I consider myself fortunate to have taken a faculty position that allows me to pursue my professional interests and passions with great colleagues and mentors. Currently my interests include providing the residents with the best dual diagnosis clinic experience and bringing cooccurring disorders expertise to the communities of New Mexico struggling with substance abuse issues in a culturally sensitive and mutally respectful manner. When not working I enjoy the rich cultural offerings and traditions of New Mexico as well as the great outdoors year round."
