University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center
A Clinical Contract is an agreement where the Health Sciences Center is selling the services of its inpatient/outpatient facilities or physician providers to an outside entity. The outside entity can be governmental or private. The service can be on-site, at HSC-owned or other locations. Services are generally direct patient care, but may be medical directorships, on-call or other.
A Clinical Contract is not a research agreement, purchase agreement, grant or clinical trial.
A Professional Service Agreement (PSA) is a binding contract between an outside entity and the Regents of the University of New Mexico for the Health Sciences Center to provide professional clinical services.
