The Office of Clinical Contract Services (OCCS) is a division of the UNM Medical Group, Inc. OCCS supports the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in many areas including Managed Care Contracts, Professional Service Agreements, Government Contracts, and the administering of the Tricare Provider Network. Our services include the development, review and negotiation of contracts as well as the management of a large provider network serving the Tricare beneficiaries residing in the state.
Our role is to maintain and grow the HSC’s market share through the management of contractual relationships. The Office of Clinical Contract Services also monitors performance and profitability, acts as a liaison in contract matters, represents and educates internal departments regarding their contracting needs, and keeps a pulse on the marketplace.
