The Community Affairs Advisory Council has been meeting each month for the past year to discuss issues that impact patients, families and community members that use UNM Hospitals and the other services offered at UNM Health Sciences Center. At this first anniversary, the council plans to take some time out to reflect on progress to date and to plan for the next twelve months. The council members will also analyze the meeting process, and look at ways to enhance this mechanism for communicating with the community. Please take time to visit with one of the council members to let them know how you would like to be involved or to have your interests addressed. Regular, open meetings will be held throughout the year, so check our newsletters for dates, times and community locations. Please plan to attend.
