||||||||||||||||||||
|
This is a clinic designed exclusively to assess you or your loved one before surgery. You can expect measurement of your vital signs (heart rate, temperature, blood pressure and respiratory rate), an interview with a anesthesiologist or a physician’s assistant. Based upon your evaluation, blood work, electrocardiogram (EKG), chest X-ray, or other studies may also be obtained. The staff will instruct you about what to expect throughout the perioperative period. You will receive instructions about when to eat before surgery and what medicines to take before surgery. Please bring all relevant medical records and medication lists with you to your visit.
