Ms. Church is a member of the Navajo
Nation. She is the Senior Program Manager of the ACL Teen Centers
within CHPDP, responsible for implementing the prevention activities,
which include supervising project staff, coordinating substance
abuse prevention services, monitoring the program budget and project
progress, and implementing a strategic planning process. This position is key
in helping to define the interface between the primary prevention program and
new clinical resources targeting prevention and early intervention. In her
former CHPDP position, Lora assisted with the fiscal management of cooperative
agreements, grants and contracts, as well as developing and maintaining financial
reports. Prior to coming to CHPDP, she had extensive experience administering
a non-profit American Indian health and human service agency known as the Native
American Community Services in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Lora received a Bachelor
of Science degree in Criminal Justice: Paralegal emphasis, and minor in Business
and Human Ecology from Northeast State University, Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She
is currently pursuing dual masters degree at the University of
New Mexico's Master's of Health Education and Master's in Public
Administration. |
