Dr. Marr-Lyon is responsible for survey
writing and design, program evaluation, quantitative research design
and statistical analyses at the PRC. She serves as the lead program
evaluator for the ACL Teen Center prevention programs. She is active
in presenting multivariate research at regional and national conferences.
Her most recent conference presentations stem from the Keeping
Family Traditions programs delivered by ACL Teen Center prevention
staff. These presentations encompass a participatory process that
was used to generate a psychometrically sound measure of parenting
processes among American Indian parent participants of the KFT
programs.
Dr. Marr-Lyon also serves as a bio-statistician for an NIH funded
grant partnership between UNM’s department of OBGYN and Los
Alamos National Laboratory. She also has an appointment with the
Department of Pharmacy where she serves as a bio-statistician.
She has publications in Gynecologic Oncology and Clinical Toxicology.
She has other manuscripts in review and pending acceptance with
the Journal of Drug Education.
Dr. Marr-Lyon is a licensed school psychologist in New Mexico.
She earned a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Washington State
University of July of 2000.
