Mr. Guttenplan manages the fiscal operations of this complex research Center. He works closely with the Center's Principal Investigators and the Director to discuss with them and advise on the fiscal and administrative aspects of proposals, grants, contracts and cooperative agreements. For all funded projects, he manages and oversees the award process, account assignments, the expenditure approval process and closeout processes in order to ensure compliance with university, state, and federal policies and regulations. Rob has more than 20 years of experience in grants and contracts administration. He received a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, with an emphasis in statistics and measurement, from the State University of New York-Buffalo.
