CME Accreditation

The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) has awarded the University of New Mexico Office of Continuing Medical Education accreditation with commendation for six years as a sponsor of continuing medical education for physicians.

ACCME accreditation ensures both physicians and the public that continuing medical education activities sponsored by UNM Office of CME meet "essentials and standards for accreditation" as specified by the ACCME.

UNM is one of only two ACCME accredited national sponsors in the state of New Mexico. The UNM Office of CME also participates in Joint Sponsorship of programs with non-accredited sponsors.
