The Neighborhood login uses your Novell account for authentication. This account uses the same userID as your GroupWise account. The passwords for both your Novell and GroupWise accounts are initialized with identical passwords. However, the passwords are not synchronized. If you change your GroupWise password it will not change your Novell password.

1. Your userID
   1. Browse to http://unmhsc.unm.edu/eGuide/servlet/eGuide 
   2. Search eGuide using your last name. If results show more than one last name that matches yours, select your full name from the results list on the left.
   3. Click on your name in the results list, then locate your HSC NetID in the main window. This is your GroupWise ID. Your email address and other information regarding your account is also listed here.
2. Your Password
   1. New Account: Your password is comprised of the following formula: HSC + Last Four Digits of Your SSN + Your First Name first initial and Last Name first Initial (Lowercase). Ex: HSC8357js
   2. Existing Account: Your password will not change
   3. Forgotten Password: Contact genius@salud.unm.edu to have it reset
   4. Change your Novell password at this self-service site: http://pw.health.unm.edu
