Reflections in Use

As you navigate the features of this resource, you may wish to consider these questions:

Who do I know that is a critical thinker? What characteristics or traits would describe this person?

What does critical thinking mean to me? How does it differ from "normal" thinking?

When do I use critical thinking? Do I use it in writing papers, taking exams, reading assignments, doing presentations, practicing skills, caring for patients?

How can I assess my thinking skills and improve them?

Why are critical thinking skills essential in nursing?
