Thinking about a way to make a difference for the College of Nursing?
You don’t need to be wealthy to support the College of Nursing in a way that will have tremendous impact. A bequest to the College could be part of your legacy, assisting students, faculty, particular programs – you decide what is most important to you. You can give specific property, a fixed amount or a portion of your estate. If you would like your bequest to support a special purpose or project or if you need more information, contact: Rosemary Gregory, Development Office, (505) 272-0200 or rrgregory@salud.unm.edu.
If you wish to make a bequest, it is important to discuss it carefully with your attorney. The appropriate bequest language at the University of New Mexico is: “I give, devise and bequeath to the University of New Mexico Foundation, Inc., Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87131, [either $________ and/or the sum of ________% of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal] for the charitable purposes of the University of New Mexico [if there is a designated UNM program or facility, such as the College of Nursing, insert its name here]."
