BSN Admission Process

In this competitive process, we will only
consider for admission those students who meet minimum criteria
and whose complete application packets are received by the
deadline. Minimum criteria for admission are as follows:
Requirements for Consideration for
Admission: Basic Entry Option
-
Successful completion of all required
freshman and sophomore classes before the term of admission
-
Successful completion of at least 16
credits of the required science courses before
submitting application. (Science courses include General
Biology, General Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology,
Anatomy & Physiology I and II, and Pathophysiology I and II
[or Human Physiologic Function & Disease])

A cumulative and science grade
point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
Requirements for Consideration for
Admission: 2nd Degree Entry Option

Earned bachelor’s degree by time of
application
-
Before submitting application,
successful completion within the previous 10 years of at
least 9 credits (three different courses) from the following
human sciences courses: Microbiology, Pharmacology, Anatomy
& Physiology, and Pathophysiology (or Human Physiologic
Function & Disease)

A cumulative and science grade
point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
