Effective May 15, 2008

The College of Nursing is no longer supporting dial-up Internet access. All students are required to have access to high-speed internet 2-3 times per week.

High-speed internet is defined as a minimum access speed of 100-150kbps (DSL, ISDN, Cable, Cellular WAN, Satellite access-type speeds, or better).

This allows for an enriched and improved interaction between students, faculty, and educational courseware via video and audio-based content.

If you have any questions about your access or how this policy affects you - contact genius@salud.unm.edu
