Obviously ( :) ) a lover of education, Paula has been a nurse for 30+ years, having worked in a variety of settings and in a number of staff and management positions. Her favorite area of interest has been holistic nursing/integrative medicine and she owned and operated a private practice (Healing Arts) for twenty years. The practice focused on energy work, bodywork, stress management and relaxation, and creative arts therapy.
Paula’s latest nursing venture has been into the research world, where she works as a Program Manager for Drs. Meek and Parshall. After having an opportunity to help out with N312 for a few semesters, Paula opted to return to school (yet again!) and is now working on her MSN in Community Health.
Paula also an artist (photography, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking). Her main interest in the art world is community arts programs. In addition to shows and gallery participation while living in Arizona, she has taught art at Northern Arizona University and Central New Mexico Community College. |
