Thomas Daniel (Dan) McKinney is the College Administrator for the College of Nursing. Mr. McKinney earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from Georgia State University. He served twenty-two years in the U. S. Air Force Medical Service Corps as a healthcare administrator. Upon retirement from active duty military service Mr. McKinney was employed by the Lovelace Health System. He came to the University of New Mexico in 1996 as a Department Administrator with the School of Medicine. Mr. McKinney has served as the administrator for the College of Nursing since January, 2002. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, serves on that organization's Regent's Advisory Council, and is the Secretary/Treasurer for the New Mexico Healthcare Managers' Forum. |
