Nancy Morton, MS, RN, CCRN is currently a
clinical educator II at the College of Nursing, Health Science
Center, University of New Mexico. She earned her Baccalaureate
of Science in Nursing at California State University, Chico and
her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Health and Education
tracks, at the University of Arizona. Nancy’s clinical
background is in adult acute and critical care. She has been
certified in critical care for more than 20 years. Since Nancy’s
employment at the College in 1994, she has taught many different
undergraduate courses, predominantly adult acute and critical
care, internships, and pharmacology. Nancy has served
extensively on the Undergraduate Committee of the College and is
closely involved in curricular planning and evaluation. She is
very concerned with entry-to-practice and has implemented an
