Debby Smith has been an Instructor at the University of New Mexico, College of Nursing in Albuquerque since 1995. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Distinction in 1985 from the University of New Mexico, College of Nursing. She also earned her Master of Science in Nursing at UNM in 1995 with an emphasis on education and adult health. Ms. Smith’s teaching experience has primarily focused on undergraduate students in both the classroom and clinical settings. Currently she is developing simulation learning as an alternative teaching strategy that will be incorporated throughout the curriculum. Clinical experience and interest has been primarily in adult critical care settings. |
