Jim Stapleton is an Instructor at the College of Nursing, Health Sciences Center, and University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Mr. Stapleton earned a Diploma of Nursing from St. John’s School of Nursing in Springfield, Illinois, and a Bachelor’s of Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Southern Illinois University. After ten years of nursing experience, he earned a Post-Master’s Certificate in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of New Mexico College of Nursing. His clinical experience includes cardiovascular nursing and home health care as a registered nurse and as a primary care provider since 1994. Mr. Stapleton became the primary clinician and manager of the College of Nursing Family Health Clinic when it opened in December, 1998. He teaches in the graduate nursing program, and also precepts undergraduate and graduate students in their clinical experiences at the Family Health Clinic. |
