Karen Wells is a Senior Academic Advisor at the College of Nursing. She is the main contact for the Master Degree Program. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico and is currently pursuing graduate studies in OLIT and English. She is also a graduate of the first UNM Management Academy Class (2003). She has over 17 years of employment with the University of New Mexico. She has been in the field of academic advising for the health sciences since 1998. Her inspiration to students comes from Gail Devers: “Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.” |
