Deidra is the Personnel Coordinator for the College of Nursing. Her primary duty is the coordination of the hiring process for faculty, staff, and students. She has an Associate’s Degree in Business Management and is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree.

Deidra was born and raised in a small town in Northern Louisiana. She moved to the State of New Mexico in 1981. She has been married for over 27 years. With four children and four grandchildren, Deidra’s family keeps her busy at home.

Deidra started her working career as one of the first women to operate heavy equipment. In 1989, Deidra and her family moved to California, where she and her husband owned and operated their own business. In 1995, Deidra and her husband sold their business and moved back to New Mexico to be closer to family.
