UNM Department of Emergency Medicine Facilities
PHI Air Medical and the University of New Mexico Department
of Emergency Medicine are recruiting to fill a new 1 year Fellowship in Air
Medical Transport.
This
position will include: experience as an Assistant Air Medical Director for
PHI Air Medical of New Mexico, experience as a rotor-wing flight physician
12-24 hours per week, 15 hours per week as junior faculty in the UNMH
Emergency Department/Trauma Center supervising emergency medicine residents,
the opportunity to develop and complete a research project, one to two
months of elective time, funded travel to at least one national meeting, the
opportunity to visit other PHI Air Medical programs and facilities, one
month vacation and a generous salary of $80,000 per year plus $5,000 for
expenses.
Minimum requirements are: board certified or board eligible in emergency
medicine.
PHI Air Medical of New Mexico operates three NVG equipped AStar B3 aircraft
out of bases in Grants, Taos and Albuquerque New Mexico completing over 1300
patient transports per year.
