Online Education Program
Welcome to the Pediatric Emergency Training Online Education Program. Courses available For CE are listed below with a brief description for each. When you visit a particular course read the instructions carefully to understand the CE available and technical system requirements. It is easy to start a module just go to the Course Directory page select a module and begin. The education is always FREE! A small administrative fee of $5.00 for CE is required. Instruction for CE is given at the completion of each module. The entire CE process is automated and a certificate is generated for you to print following payment and registration.

- CE available for various healthcare providers (check each course for specific CE approvals)
- Courses are highly informative, presented with rich graphics. Some courses incorporate advanced features currently offered on the web such as streaming video, sound, animation and interactivity. Video scenarios feature re-enacted pediatric emergencies that demonstrate skills.
- Available 24 hours, 7 days a week. The learner has access to these courses at a time and pace that fits their needs. Learners may revisit the content anytime for review.

UNM EMSC Partnership Course
Grant funded by HRSA #H34MC 02542-02-00542
Module Series with currently 9 modules available primarily for pre-hospital EMS personnel's scope of practice, however, can benefit all healthcare providers. Pediatric 1.0 CE available for EMS only.
National CECBEMS CE is available for EMS personnel for a $5.00
administrative processing fee for each CE. FREE CE is available for NM
EMS personnel approved by the NM EMS Bureau. New modules are being produced and added to the Course Directory on an ongoing basis.

A Multi—Systems Approach to Pediatric Trauma Course
Grant funded by Bioterrorism Hospital Preparedness Project—NM Center for Disaster Medicine
This is an exciting virtual online course for all healthcare providers that presents video re-enacted pediatric trauma scenarios
and teaching interview with a UNM medical expert commenting on the
medical care for the specific injuries of the child. This is true "edutainment" with streaming video, rich multimedia and interactive instruction.
Eight modules are available. No login or payment
required to view the module content. CE payment and registration is at
the end of the educational portion of each module. FREE
NM EMS Bureau approved CE for in state EMS providers. Nationally
approved CE available for EMS personnel and CA Board of Nursing
CE available for Nurses (check with your state licensing board for
acceptance in your state) There is a small administrative fee of
$5.00 per module.

VSNEMS Virtual School Nurse and EMS Course

A School Nurse Emergency Preparedness course with 15 modules. These
modules utilize streaming video technology that provide exciting and
enhanced learning. CA Board of Nursing CE available for Nurses (check
with your state licensing board for acceptance in your state). National
CECBEMS CE is available for EMS personnel. There is a $5.00 administrative processing fee for each CE but the education is always FREE.
FREE CE is also available for NM EMS personnel approved by the NM
EMS Bureau.

This exciting virtual online course for all healthcare
providers presents pediatric medical emergency scenarios and their
emergency medical management. 1 module available This course also features streaming video, rich multimedia and interactive instruction.

Emergency Medicine Online Courses
In addition to the pediatric online courses we offer other emergency medicine education.
An in-depth multimedia module exploring the use of the gum-elastic bougie, also known as an endotracheal tube introducer, as a tool for adult Airway Management. A discussion with residents in the Emergency Room provides the instructional portion. Re-enacted scenarios create real medical situations for use of the bougie. CA

available for EMS personnel. There is a $5.00 administrative processing
