Online Training and Continuing Education

Welcome to the UNM Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine EMSC Online Training Program

It is easy to take an module and receive CE. To start read through this page and when ready navigate to our Course Directory page by using the menu to the left. This page contains a full list of available modules with a short description for each. Upon completion, directions guide you through the process for obtaining CE. The goal is to provide current specialized training in pediatric pre-hospital care.

National CECBEMS Approved Continuing Education Credit Now Available

National CE is available for all of our EMSC modules. There is a $5.00 processing fee for national CECBEMS CE certificate per module. Online payment processing followed by CE registration, generating an automated certificate, makes the process simple and instantaneous. The NM EMS Bureau CE certificate is no charge to NM EMS personnel per state contract agreement. CE is also available for our other 2 courses Pediatric Trauma and School Nurse and EMS, a total of 28 modules. Both have national CECBEMS and NM EMS Bureau CE approval available.

Continuing Education Credit

The research for EMSC online education is complete. Thank-you to all who have participated throughout the state of New Mexico. The pretest has been deleted from the modules 4/20/09. A posttest is required at the completion of each module for CE. *Please note that the completion time for each module has been reduced to 1 hour upon deletion of the pretest. Each module is still available for NM EMS Bureau approved for 1.0 hour of  Pediatric CE.
