As of May 13, 2009 ALL VSNEMS modules are automated. The learning is always FREE! Payment for nationally approved, professional CE, is now online with a credit card and CE registration is followed by an automated certificate generated from the registration information entered into our database. You must be at a computer with a printer to print a certificate after registration.
Modules 1-10, 12-15 are Nationally CE approved. Module 11 is a short module and is NOT CE approved.

conceived and administered school emergency response plan will enhance
the preparedness of the entire educational team. CE: 1.0
Module Description: A dynamic module that combines
lecture with simulated scenarios that demonstrate critical assessment
and triage principles. CE: 1.0

school emergencies such as anaphylaxis, seizures, shock, toxins, burns,
etc.. and their specific treatment by the school nurse. A school nurse
first aid kit tour following her lecture is presented by Rob Elgie, RN. CE: 1.0
Module Description: Airway problems are becoming
more prevalent in the school setting. Robert Sapien, M.D. discusses
airway management with proper opening of the airway, oxygen delivery
systems, maintaining an airway and proper ventilation. Emergency asthma
management concludes the module with peak flow assessment, oxygen use,
inhalers and nebulizers. CE: 1.0
Module Description: The module begins with basic
spinal anatomy and physiology. Mechanism of Injury and initial
evaluation along with care of the airway continue the discussion. The
anatomy of alignment concludes this module and leads to Module 8 that
discusses the proper techniques for spinal immobilization. CE: 1.0
Module Description: Spinal Emergency Care will not
slow down the A, B, C's of emergency care if you study and practice the
practical skills. This module will teach and demonstrate the proper
techniques for stabilizing the cervical spine and maintaining an airway. CE: 1.0
