It is the mission of the Department of Emergency Medicine Office of Research to continue the departmental history of research productivity, to have a model resident research experience, to develop a core of emergency medicine physician-scientists engaged in UNM's CTSC & "Signature" research programs, to establish a fiscally self-sufficient emergency medicine clinical trials program, and to create an emergency medicine research consortium that combines the strengths of southwestern institutions to conduct large, multi-site research projects.
