Special Interest and Expertise:  Injury Prevention, Epidemiology, Statistics

My main area of interest is injury epidemiology. Within injury epidemiology, I have published in transportation-related injury epidemiology, including occupant restraint systems, vehicle incompatibility issues in side impact crashes, and pedestrian-motor vehicle crash epidemiology. Violence, and in particular violence against women (domestic violence, sexual assault), remains the core of my research.
