Anything else interesting: Life Before Med School: Circuitous and nomadic: international mountain guide, wilderness medicine educator, EMT, ED trauma tech, Apple Computer network administrator and sales representative at University of Colorado, anatomy & physiology TA, father, husband, and one of those “older, non-traditional” pre-med undergrads.    Hobbies: rock/snow/ice/mixed alpine climbing, mountain & road cycling, trail-running, telemark & backcountry skiing, scuba diving, spinning, improvisational and impetuous construction projects (or any other excuse to use my power tools), hangin’ with the kid. Worst/Best job: Worst job: cardboard box assembler at a paint factory. Best job: mountain guide and climbing instructor.
