Great climate, lots
of sick/uninsured pathology, great extracurricular opportunities in
residency (critical care, EMS/event, disaster medicine, etc.), family
friendly, lots of outdoor happenings, “big size town with small town
feel,” green chili.

critical care fellowship, married with 3 children (ages 5,3,1) – know
ins-outs of zoo/explora/aquarium…
Life Before Med
School: Ski
patrol, lifeguard, EMT-II, El Salvador 2 yr mission, dating until found
“the one,” piano, self-teaching/struggling-with guitar.
Hobbies:
Family, cycling,
music, backpacking, rock climbing, swimming.
Worst/Best job:
Paper route – waking up at 4am and being chased by dogs on my bike in
the snow (barefoot and uphill both ways). Best – lifeguarding on Newport
beach’s semi-white sands with surfing before/after work day.
