Why Albuquerque: Great people, great patient volume and variation, and great weather!!

.... Anything else interesting: For you budding urban farmers Albuquerque is a very chicken friendly city.  You can have up to six chickens in your yard (sorry no roosters) within the city limits!  We've got three girls laying right now.

Life Before Med School: Paramedic, wildland and structural firefighter, bike industry job, cell phone sales, camp maintenance supervisor, temp worker, more random jobs than can count…

Hobbies: Running, biking, playing with Zula our yellow lab, gardening, sailing (even in the desert- we've got a sailboat in our driveway).

Worst/Best job: Worst-- Working in factory making artificial crabmeat, only lasted 1 day. Really!! And don't eat that stuff.  It doesn't start out pink!!  Best-- Paramedic in Yellowstone National Park for two seasons.  Closest I've ever been to Nirvana, and I got free food too!

Favorite Band: Jack Johnson
Favorite Movie: Star Wars
Favorite  TV Show: Battle Star Gallactica
