Kenlyn Hobley Undergrad: University of New Mexico Med School: University of New Mexico Hometown: Motown aka Detroit Why Albuquerque: laid back lifestyle, great outdoor activity opportunities, climate, and beautiful sunsets. .... Anything else interesting: Thinking about becoming an official Southwesterner and getting a horse. Life Before Med School: I worked lots of different jobs before jumping into medicine, most recent was as an emergency nurse and examiner for SANE (sexual assault examiners). On the non-medical end of the spectrum, I worked crowd control for concert arenas in Detroit, was a process server, kitchen manager/trainer, bartender and manager of a nightclub. I came to New Mexico to work with the Indian Health Service, stayed to finish my undergrad and med school.   Hobbies: photography, swimming, eating and sleeping. Worst/Best job: Worst- worked with a cleaning crew for restaurants/bars and reporting to work New Years day where it required gallons of bleach and hours to clean the bathrooms.  Most fun Job- serving papers on people who were evading: got one lady by putting the summons in a flower box under long stem roses and pretending I was a delivery person.
