This is an advanced career track
rotation that builds on the basic knowledge and skills obtained during the basic
rotations in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. It is primarily
intended for students interested in pursuing a career in emergency medicine and
critical care. As the subspecialty of Critical Care Medicine is becoming a more
popular career path for emergency physicians, this rotation is intended to
propagate that interest and highlight the crossover between the two disciplines.

between Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
- To learn the fundamentals of ICU care for a
variety of pathologies, including traumatic illness, neurosurgical
