The CPR Committee
at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences
Center is responsible for quality assurance
of our institution’s cardiac arrests, pulmonary arrests, and
cardiopulmonary arrests. Our Committee is comprised of Nurses,
Pharmacists, and Physicians who have an interest in improving the acute
medical care of patients, visitors and staff members during these types of
events. We are striving to improve access to immediate life saving
measures such as airway assistance, defibrillation and drug therapy during
an arrest in any of our hospitals or outlying clinics.
