The New Mexico Center for Environmental Health Sciences (NMCEHS) is pleased to announce the opening of a new UNM Mass Spectrometry Facility in Clark Hall in the Dept of Chemistry. NMCEHS was one of several units that contributed to the purchase of the mass spectrometry equipment and support for facility staff. An ABI 4700 MALDI/TOF/TOF and a Micromass MS spectrometer have been purchased. The ABI instrument is particularly useful for proteomics studies. Mass spectrometry proteomics services will be available to NM NIEHS Center members through the Center's Biotechnology Facility Core (FC2). For more information, contact the Center's FC2 Core Leader, Larry Sklar

New!  Summary of Services and Equipment
We are pleased to announce the Biotechnology Facility Core  will now co-pay 20% of charges for Genetics, Proteomics and KUGR (Microscopy is not included) for approved center members.  Furthermore, for approved NM NIEHS Center members who are also Cancer Center members, the Cancer Center will also co-pay an additional 20%.

"Approved" center members are full NIEHS Center members conducting relevant NM NIEHS Center research.  Please contact Dr. Larry Sklar or Dennie for more information about co-payment qualification.

As always, please cite the NM NIEHS Center on publications, grants etc, for facility core usage as follows:
