UNM Compliance with the NIH Policy

UNM has taken an innovative approach to ensuring compliance with the NIH Policy.

UNM PIs and all co-authors publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts based on NIH funding awarded through UNM must sign a non-exclusive copyright license before grant submission.  The License allows UNM to comply with the NIH Policy in the event the PI does not comply within 12 months of publication.
