Adobe medicus, HSLIC’s bimonthly newsletter, was first published in December 1977. This website features issues from the past three years. LoboVault contains issues from 2000 to the present. Older, print-only editions can be found in the collection at the Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center.
What it coversThe newsletter announces new programs, services and activities at the library and at the Health Sciences Center (HSC); reports on recent activities, events and awards associated with the library; and includes how-to articles about services that patrons may not be aware of.
Adobe medicus is distributed electronically to the HSC campus through HSC Public Affairs emails and through announcements on the HSLIC home page. Print editions are distributed to library organizations, HSC leadership (including School of Medicine department chairs), UNM leadership, the UNM Faculty Senate Library Committee, UNM Regents and a number of State of New Mexico officials, including the governor.
We continually strive to provide new and interesting information about HSLIC activities.
