The East and West buildings of the Domenici Center for Health Sciences Education officially opened for classes in January 2007. The Center was constructed through the generous support of New Mexico taxpayers and federal funding. The Northeast building, which opened in January 2010, houses the Leonard M. Napolitano Ph.D. Anatomical Education Center (human anatomy lab), a 50 seat classroom, and a 28,000 sq. ft. Interprofessional Healthcare Simulation Center (IHSC). The IHSC contains a mock community pharmacy, sterile/non-sterile compounding areas, simulated inpatient rooms, a drop in skills lab, examination rooms for assessment, simulation and procedure rooms and debriefing rooms.   Phase III will include a full range of classrooms and student support spaces.  For more information about Domenici Center, please see our brochure.
