Off-Campus Resource Access

What is it?

Remote or Off-Campus Access refers to the ability to access electronic resources like ebooks, ejournals and databases when you are not at a computer with a UNM address.

Who is eligible?

This service is restricted to UNM affiliates due to licensing restrictions.  UNM affiliates are UNM or UNMH students, staff and faculty and Preceptors and Volunteer Faculty.

Not sure if you know you are an affiliate or have a NetID?  Check the eGuide (HSC) or the UNM Directory.  If your name is not listed either contact your sponsoring department (Preceptors/Volunteer Faculty) or your respective Human Resources department (faculty/staff) or Registrar (students).

How does it work?

When you click on a restricted resource from off campus you will be see the screen shown below.  Enter your NetID username and password for access.  Contact the HSLIC HelpDesk (272-1694) or UNM IT (277-4848) with password problems.
