Q:  How do I get an Oracle ID? 

A:  The URL for the self-service application is  https://lamb.unm.edu/lamb-bin/AAProj/createAccount.cgi. ___________________________________________

Q:  How do I change my Oracle ID?

A:  Changing the Oracle ID requires changing the NetID which must be done at the ITS Computer Accounts office.  ___________________________________________

Q:  How I change my Oracle account password?

A:  To change your Oracle ID password simply change your NetID password via the self-service application.

Q:  Will everyone’s NetID and Oracle ID be synchronized?

A:  All accounts setup after the deployment of the self-service application will be synchronized. Accounts created prior to self-service could have different passwords.

Q:  When will a person’s Oracle ID be locked and deleted?

A:  When a person separates from the university, the account will be locked and subsequently deleted through a nightly automated process.

Q:  How does this process work for HSC employees?

A:  Employees who work for the non-clinical components of the HSC are UNM employees and should be treated like any other main campus employee. UNM Hospitals employees typically will not have a reason to access Banner information, but if there is such a need they  wil be granted UNM affiliate privileges.
